The Race to Final Four Heats Up

Teams are trying to grasp a firm hold of their position in the race to final four. SPDC based on their current standing is already assured of a final four slot. From the looks of it, Western, DFFC and SMFI will most likely compose the final four. However, the two tailenders Mindanao Cargo and SMPFC can still spring surprises if they can win this Sunday. First game will feature SMFI battling Western Feedmill. SMFI currently tote a 3-3 win-loss record while Western is at solo second with a 4-2 win-loss card. If SMFI wins over Western, they will be tied at 4-3 win-loss tally. If its the other way around, SMFI's record will dropped to 3-4 and Western will further solidify their hold of the second place with a 5-2 win loss card. Second game will headline the encounter between SPDC and SMPFC. It will be a tough game for SMPFC. A loss will further diminished their hopes of landing in the top 4. SPDC remains unbeaten with a 6-0 win loss card. In the third game, MCF plays DFFC. MCF inflicted the first loss of DFFC in the first round. Let's see if MCF can duplicate its feat. A win by MCF will boost their final four aspiration although they will still remain at fifth place but will have better opportunity to catch up with the number 4 team. However, if DFFC wins they'll leave MCF in doldrums.
Don't miss the games this Sunday, October 26, 2008!
