DFFC and Western Feedmill will try to outsmart and outrun each other this Sunday, October 5, 2008 if they want to improve on their team standing. Both teams are tied-up at second place with 2-1 win-loss record behind pacesetting SPDC with an unblemished slate of 3-0. The second game will feature the league leader, SPDC, versus the resurgent SMFI Poultry. SPDC again will rely on their twin towers, Jimbo Baba and Merwen Remocaldo. SMFI meanwhile expects steady game from Ericson Irlandez, James Gutierrez, forward Dandan Morandante and shooting guard Jimmy Dacalano. The third game will pit winless SMPFC, itching to notch their first win, versus slumping Mindanao Cargo Forwarders. Prolific scorer, RJ Rulona, will again lead MCF with Mark Anthony Yap setting up the play at the point guard position. SMPFC will have their hands full if they want to beat MCF. Joy Alcoberes will again provide the muscle inside the paint for SMPFC. Adrian "Doc" Basoc will have to bring his "A" game with Paolo Mesias providing the speed. SMPFC's playing coach and team captain Jerry "Jer-jer" Demegillo declares his team readiness to play this Sunday.
Expect another "war" this Sunday. See you there!
